MORE ON PIROTING, ROTING, ROTING

The two main companies that claim exclusive rights, is Apple Max and MS. But Apple max does not claim to own the hard drive; there OS only works on the computer or mother board. But the claim that ms makes that you can only use it on one computer or mother board is off base. MS does not own the mother board or computer, the company that made the mother board has the rights to it and unless MS is or has paid a royalty to that mother board company, it (MS) has no right dictating how many times its OS is used on it. And it can't dictate what computer mother board you can use your hard drive on, the same as no one can tell you what CD players you can use there CD on. The reason I believe this is because today with the flash drives or chips that can hold so many GB on them that could be installed on a mother board, that MS could install there OS onto a mother board and have exclusive rights to it, and it would always be on that computer. No more worries about pirating there CD'S. Everyone would know there is no real MS CD out there. And there would be no need to activate the computer. But of course this could cause royalties claims from the motherboard owners. In fact all CD players could be built this way also, like the mp3 gadgets. So there is no reason to activate an OS containing a virus to delete everything if you don't activate it. But they would still end up with costly problems as knowledge causes creation. They just have to learn to deal with it without blaming there customers for the problems and using deception to make money so they can capitalize from it and plant viruses to terrorize there customers. Maybe I am wrong, but I really don't see there being allowed to do this if our Nation really believes in freedom of enterprise.

Computer Pirots

When a company claims its OS is the main operating system on your computer and uses software pirating as an excuse to plant viruses in an OS on your hard drive that will delete every file you create using that OS, if you don't register it, or activate it, they are comitting a crime of fraud. The computers operating system is the BIOS. The hard drive has been a removable drive for a long time now, even though some companies still hype it as a fixed drive to make people think it is a part of the motherboard. The Motherboard is the computer, everything else attaches to it by cables, including the hard drive. And now you no longer need a hard drive to run programs, because of CD-Roms, or floppies, or USB pen drives, or even flash drives that are a part of the motherboard. The concept of the live-cd using el-torro allowed any OS to be installed to ram by tricking the ram into thinking it was working with a floppy drive and uses ram the same as the OS did, when on the hard drive. So the hard drive isn't needed to run the computer anymore as the companies selling some OS's claim. Also the rack-mount with the hard drive installed in a cd like case that is slid into the rack-mount like a CD makes the hard drive more like a removable CD, because you can swap hard drives like software for CD-Rom drives, so you can change hard drives with a different os on them, just like you can change live CD'S with an OS on them. So the hard drive is not the computer and before a company can tell you that you can only put there OS on one hard drive they will have to pay a royalty to the hard drive company for this right or they will be pirating the hard drives. It would be like telling you that you could only put there OS on a hard drive. But a company can put a flash drive on a motherboard and only allow there OS on that computer, live MSN TV or the old web TV, because it is then a part of that computer. A hard drive is not a part of a computer, its an extension or add on.
